Dear All – it’s been a while since we’ve been in touch and although there’s been silence on the newsletter front, it’s been busy behind the scenes in the studio and shop.
New Look
I’m delighted to announce the launch of my new website where you can explore a small selection of our couture designs and online shop. We have a stunning array of accessories, perfect for keeping the winter chill at bay. They will keep you both warm and stylish, whether you’re braving the cold outdoors or enjoying a cosy day at home.
These pieces include soft to the touch Mongolian Lamb Scarves, comfy Scottish Cashmere socks, warming EMU Australian Slippers, sheepskin ear warmers and gloves. They also make lovely gifts…… with Valentine’s Day fast approaching, drop some hints and send your sweetheart our way!
If you’re lucky to be heading off to warmer climes for winter sun, we always have a selection of pieces in store to refresh your holiday wardrobe. Our kimonos in Liberty Tana Lawn cotton make a light and comfortable cover up as you head to the pool and / or the beach. I designed these Kimonos with a stand collar, side seam pockets, tie belt and contrast hem features. They're available in a variety of beautiful colourful prints with a "Mitzi white" for neutral lovers and come in a range of sizes.
Sale
Our sale is now on in store (online in progress) with reductions on some of our cosy slipper styles, coats and a selection of sample pieces including wedding dresses. You can find some incredible bargains as we tidy up to make way for new ready to wear pieces this spring. It’s worth heading to our sale section to take a look, and do pass this on to a friend.

Made to measure
The New Year continues the collaboration with clients to create bespoke pieces - from stunning coats to tailored jackets for the workplace and beyond. I’m sure they will become cherished wardrobe staples for years to come. Designing and creating these unique, slow and sustainable pieces brings me immense joy. Last year I loved hearing how they drew admiration and compliments when worn across the pond and here in the UK.
Could there be anything more fabulous than a made to measure coat in a luxurious fabric to stay warm this season? If the trend for an oversize coat isn’t for your or if you want to ditch the puffer get in touch to find out more.
Consultations are already in full swing discussing designs with Mothers of the Bride / Groom (and glamorous Grandmothers) so they can make a stylish impact, from the wedding ceremony to the dance floor and everything else in between. It’s always satisfying knowing that these pieces are loved and clients tell us they enjoy many more happy occasions out after the big day. We’ve already received enquiries about Ascot too, and we love hearing from clients who want to plan ahead and start thinking about occasion pieces for the 2025 season; it’s never too early.
Bride of the Month
I'm so looking forward to this year's weddings. It is always such a privilege collaborating with brides to create such an important dress for such a special day. Rosanna was introduced to us by a client, a future mother in law, who contacted us to say Rosanna was in despair having been let down. Could we help with her wedding dress?
Rosanna emailed images of the styles she liked, which sparked her dream dress conversation. After trying on some of our sample dresses, talking more, discovering what worked and importantly what didn't, we both knew the design direction we were taking, and that she preferred a more structured corset bodice.
Rosanna's dress for her August wedding had a keyhole open back, which with the corseted bodice enhanced her beautiful figure and waist. The main fabric was a beautiful Italian silk organza, which worked perfectly to swirl drapes over the bodice, accentuating the waist, and brought lightness and fluidity to the full circular skirt, and extravagant train.
Other bespoke details included a square neckline and an organza "leg of mutton sleeve". Most symbolic and deeply personal to Rosanna was a custom embroidery featuring Lily of the valley, her late mother's favourite flower, that edged the sleeve hems entwining its way up to the mid-point of the sleeves.
